strategy mainly focuses on the
education and the
development of children and
teenagers through soccer
quality programmes of world
standard. These includes:
Basic Secondary School
Education:This involves the
operation of a Junior and
Senior Secondary School in
arts and social sciences to cater
for the educationl needs of
children and teenagers within
its reach.
Academy Performance squads:
Operation of the Academy’s
performance squads for the
following age category: Under
13s, under 15s, and Under 17s.
Each squad comprises of 20
talented youngsters selected
from all parts of the country
and will participate in local and
international youth football
competitions annually.
Siaone Soccer Clinics:Siaone
Soccer Clinics are designed to
give a chance to teenagers
between the ages of 13-20 to
showcase their talents.
Through these clinics, proven
talents are recruited to the
Academy performance squads
or given recommendation
directly to the Nigeria U17 and
U-20 national teams. Under
this progamme, participants are
expected to register and pay
an agreed fee throughout the
duration of the clinics which
last for 3 -6 months.
Soccer skills development:This
programme is primarily
designed to identify and
develop football skills of
children between the ages of 8
and 12. The programme is an
ongoing and involves working
in partnership with primary
schools and the FCT Ministry of
sports in Abuja to identify,
engage and develop soccer
skills of children within the
targeted age groups. With the
availability of funds this
programme will be extended to
other parts of the country.
Coaching education: This
programme involves the
running of coaching seminars
for local coaches in partnership
with the Nigeria Football
Federation, European and
South American Football
Associations notably England,
Holland and Brazil.
Soccer in the Community: This
programme basically involves
the operation of a week-long
soccer skills development clinic
in communities within the
Country by special invitation or
arrangement for an agreed
fee.
Siaone Stars Football Club: In
the nearest future, the
Academy will parade a football
outfit that will be registered to
play in the Nigerian
professional league and will be
made up of graduates from
the Academy. The Football
club will serve as exit routes for
its members into the Nigerian
national team, professional
football clubs in Nigeria and
abroad. It will also be a
platform that will promote the
establishment of partnerships
with professional football clubs
and recognised FIFA football
